We used a 4 point McMahon pairing system, where M=4, Exp=3, A=2, B=1, C/D=0
Chuck Ensey directed and wrote this post. Cyrus had it won after 3 rounds by defeating Kyron, Bruce and Venkat while Dionisio lost to both Kyron and Bruce. Cy drew with Dionisio in the last round but by then he already had a 1 1/2 point lead. Great day for Expert Jeff Turner, he drew with Peter Hodges, beat Chris Wonnell, drew with Bud Stamper and beat Venkat. Ajay continues to move up the rating charts and Greg Ingolia busted through to become an A player. He had an old scholastic rating that took some time to bring up. There should be a way for the rating system to take that into account, but as far as I know, they don't. Keric Rivas also had a good day with 2 wins, a draw and a loss only to Scott Householder. Joshua won the U1400 even though he had to leave early.
