Gambito #528 10/29/11
26 players, good turnout. Here are the players in pre-event rating order. It was a well diversified field.
4 Masters: Cyrus Lakdawala, Bruce Baker, Kyron Griffith and Peter Graves

5 Class A: Chris Wonnell, Elkaei Rivera, Aaron Householder, Pejman Sagart and Scott Householder

5 Class C: Ajay Krishnan, Aaron Moman, David Whitten, Glenn Rich and Fred Cleveland
2 Class D: Patrick Edwards and Matthew Lizanich. Roger Pedersen filled in as a house player
We used a 3 point McMahon pairing system (M/Exp =3, A=2, B=1, C/D=0).
Pejman Sagart had a particularly good day, winning over the resurgent Jay Choi, then Expert Jamieson Pryor and to top it off, defeating NM Peter Graves in a very nice game. His reward? He got to play Cyrus in the last round...but maybe that helped him gain over 80 points, we'll see when the event is rated. Ajay Krishnan also gained over 80 points, putting him well over 1600 for the first time. The kid is on his way, look out world...
