SDCC Spring Championships 2012

Sunday, April 1st

Sponsored by the San Diego Chess Club

2225 6th Ave (1 block south of Laurel Street in Balboa Park)

All students K-9th Grade are invited to play

3 Sections: Novice (under 600 USCF or unrated)

Intermediate (under 1000 USCF)

Advanced (1000 or over USCF)

Note: All players play 5 games, win or lose

Rated event, United States Chess Federation (USCF) membership required

May join or renew at site (usually $19/year) or sign up in advance at USChess.org

Entry Fee $15 by email, payable at site on Sunday

Trophies each section, rest receive medals

Registration 9:00 am - 9:45 am

Play begins at approximately 10:00 am. Ends 4:00pm - 4:30 pm

Bring chess sets if possible
