Lakdawala Series Rd 2

Please email Chuck Ensey at chucnglo@aol.com to register or call Bruce Baker at 619-239-7166. Entry Fee = $25.  Time Control is 40/90, SD/60, with 5 second delay. Two byes are available, but no byes in last round unless you declare it irrevocably before Rd 2. If you need a bye, please call the club BEFORE 6:30 PM on Wednesday, after that it is too late to get a half-point bye, you will only get a zero point bye.

    13...Bd7? seems like a fairly obvious error. 13...Bxf3 was used by a grandmaster and led to a quick draw.

  7. 28.Qf6+ Kg8 because if 29.Qg7??? QxQg7, so Bruce's move is better. Bruce is a master! LOL
