The 5 Hour Slow Section (40/90, SD/60, with 5 sec time delay) or

The 3 Hour Fast Section (G/90, with 10 second time delay). 

There are 5 rounds in this event: Rd 1 10/10, Rd 2 10/17, Rd 3 10/24, (no play on 10/31 due to Halloween), Rd 4 on 11/7, Rd 5 11/14. One 1/2 point bye is available for those who need a break or can't play on a particular night. Other byes after that are allowable, but they would be zero point byes.

We will use a McMahon pairing system in both sections where Masters and Experts start with 3 bye points, Class A players start with 2, Class B with 1 and Class C and below with 0. This way you will mostly be playing with players close to your own rating, but as with any Swiss system, when you win you get tougher pairings and when you lose you then get easier pairings (in most cases).
