Distractions

Hi All,

It's been a very long time since I have participated in any discussions.
This one going around about Ron Bruno's inteview, I'm staying out of that
one. Anyways, when I first joined the club, the penalty for distractions
such as cell phones going off, chatting while games were going on received a
5.00 or 3.00 fine, can't remember which one it was. I must admit I am very
much affected by distractions. I, from time to time, will be very focal when
I am distracted, probably not the thing to do. I apologize for this. We need
to go back to the strict rules of bringing back those fines, even for me.
What really shocked me was watching Ron and Adam in their last game for the
championships. Having that guy run back and forth between boards was driving
me crazy and I wasn't even playing. I asked a certain person if he thought
that was distracting, and he said "NO". Sometimes this guy would record the
wrong move or be behind in moves and have to really get down and look at the
boards, my god. Also, after Carl lost his game, a bunch of people gathered
around and started analyzing the game right there. I thought we were not
suppose to do that!!! Anyways, enough on that one.

I just wanted to voice my opinion. Hopefully I'll get some feedback on this.
